I am a HPC registered podiatrist (CH13195) who has a BSc (hons) in Podiatric Medicine. I have been qualified for over 15 years and specialise in musculoskeletal injuries and biomechanics of the lower limb adult and children, gait analysis and Orthotics Manufacturing. I have a Master's degree in these areas of specialty and have worked extensively with patients of all ages from children to older persons. I also work as a rehabilitation podiatrist with fallers and patients who have had a stroke as well as those with other kinds as of neurological problems.

The management of lower limb conditions and injuries include non-operative treatments such as orthotics/insoles, strengthening and stretching exercises and advice on footwear both sports and general when required. The most appropriate treatment will be recommended for each patient and is individually tailored to their own needs.

 

My publications include articles for the Liverpool Echo and The Daily Mail and I have had an article published in 2011 in an international journal relating to improvement of gait. My own sports include: Racquetball, cycling, open water swimming and running.
